Asbri Golf Wins International Business of the Year Award

The 2010 season has certainly teed off on a high for Welsh Golf Company Asbri Golf, having been awarded the highly prestigious award of “International Business of the Year” at the recent Rhondda Cynon Taff Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony.

Held at the Heritage Park Hotel, the awards were in recognition of outstanding achievement in business and to celebrate the range and depth of entrepreneurial talent. Asbri Golf, Official Licensee to The 2010 Ryder Cup, beat off strong competition to win the coveted award showing outstanding performance in building a commercially successful and sustainable International business. Presenting the award to Asbri was one of Wales’ best known and much loved television presenters, Sara Edwards along with very popular, guest speaker Nick Hewer, famously known as Alan Sugar’s right hand man in the television series The Apprentice.

Eryl Williams, Managing Director of Asbri Golf gratefully accepted the award and commented, “To win such a prestigious award is a testament to our achievement in creating not only a successful UK business, but a thriving International golf brand. This award is recognition of the hard work of everyone involved with Asbri Golf since its launch in 2003. I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of all of our staff, and would like to sincerely thank our customers both locally and internationally who have made Asbri Golf a huge success and a key player within the golf industry.”
