Our History

Founded by Eryl Williams in 2001, Asbri was originally a product design consultancy which was commissioned to design sporting footwear, apparel and accessories to many global brands including Puma, Fila, Umbro and Kappa. Utilising this product design, developing and sourcing knowledge, Asbri Golf in was launched in 2003. The brand name “Asbri” is a Welsh word with the translation of “Spirited” or “Vivacious” which we believe captures the whole ethos of our company.

Paul Williams joined the company quickly after the formation of the golf business in 2003 with a clear role of showcasing and selling Eryl’s designs and products through the golf trade. Together, with a passion for the game of golf, our vision was to create a Welsh Golf Company that offered an alternative to the traditional, old fashioned golf accessories that were currently on the market. Support for our brand and products quickly grew both through the UK and overseas, but sales catapulted on a global scale when Asbri was announced by the European Tour as Official Licensee’s to The 2010 Ryder Cup, held at the Celtic Manor Resort. Two days before the end of that memorable Ryder Cup week, our Official Merchandise was completely sold out…..


Our Clients

Today, our business now sells over 200 different golf products and supplies over 5,000 golf clubs and resorts across 35 countries Worldwide. Specialising in crested and custom logo accessories, our extensive portfolio caters for the largest golf resorts and corporate brands in the World. We are sincerely grateful that PGA professionals choose us as their trusted brand for bespoke accessories and they stretch from close to home courses such as Royal Porthcawl and Royal St David’s to further afield customers like Royal Montreal and Royal Sydney. Outside the golf industry, we are also privileged that corporate giants such as Mercedes Benz, Pepsi, Bentley and many others have chosen us for their golf day requirements.

Product is stocked, crested and distributed from our 18,000 sq. ft Head Office in South Wales, which also houses the latest state-of-the-art print and embroidery facility, ensuring branding is of the highest quality. As well as our highly experienced team internally, our global distributor partners and UK sales teams are committed to providing exceptional service where customer satisfaction is paramount.
